Hungarian Passport Photo and Visa Photo specifications:

Three photographs of size 45mm x 35mm must be submitted by the applicant

The photos should be less than 6 months old

The Hungarian Embassy will decline pictures taken in instant photo-booths or on computers

The color of the background must be pale colored or white. There should be no shadows on the face of the applicant or the backdrop. Dark clothing is also suggested.

70-8o% of the photograph should be covered by the face, in essence the size ofthe head should be 31mm-36mm beginning from the chin to crown

The applicant should have an expression which is neutral; eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight into the camera, the head should be in the center and square to the camera. Both ears should also be shown clearly

Under religious and medical situations, headwear is allowed. All facial features must be noticeable from the bottom of the chin to the hairline of the applicant, as well as both the edges of your face being displayed.

Ifyou wear glasses we recommend removing them to ensure that your photograph passes,the lenses and frames are known to have caused issue in the past with photographs due to reflections and obscuring of the applicant's features

The photos should have adequate contrast and brightness, and should also be printed on quality paper at high resolution. Photographs that have been digitally edited will be rejected.
